Lazy Black Sea Tour

I have no idea if someone who came out with the name ‘Lazy Black Sea Tour’ had visited a fortune-teller earlier or it was just a coincidence, but that tour was really LAZY. I don`t want to excuse myself, friends from Poland or from visited countries, but with temperature often exceding 50 C, we unanimously voted for beach rather then to go find spots or skateparks. However we were skating everyday, but just at the evenings, when it was cool enough. We met Mirek, Adam and Piotrek in Cracov during the hungarian tour which was taking place there at that time. After few hours we headed to Rzeszów, where we chilled and took some rest in order to start our journey early next day to Koszyce, Slovakia where Martin was supposed to meet us. Next day after confusing shopping and money exchange, with some delay we took off from Rzeszow. Few hours by car and we arrived at our destination where we did a little night session and huge chil-party at Martin`s flat (thx man!). train Next day we drove to Romania where we took a train. This time the trip through out the Count Dracula`s country lasted about 12 hours with the final stop at Bucharest – it was the first official tour stop. Michai Bivol picked us up from the station and offered a place to stay at the Romanian capital. Bucharest turned out to be a very hot place, so skating before 6 PM was nearly impossible, although we managed to do some sick sessions at local parks and spots. Constance was the second stop, which according to me was the best experience. Awesome resort at the Black Sea surprised me by the amount of nightclubs at the beach and nearby. sda We skated here only once – you can say lazybones…I don`t know how were the others but I wasn`t so indolent, it was Constance where I had a pleasure to talk with local TV star (who had a Playboy session) and managed to take some pictures of her in out tour Tshirt and Hedon ghetto cap. Th girl wasn`t posing for a camera for the first time, so the photos turned out flawlessly (check HedonskateFashion.com soon). However Constance wasn`t so pleasant for Piotrek who lost his backpack with money, clothes and documents. sd After getting familiar with Romanian charms and getting to know great locals, we moved to the next tour stop – Bulgaria. This place considered as a paradise at old, communist times which was affordable only to few. Dobrich was the first city we visited and after quick bath and hotel`s pool we went to check the finals of the local contest. I don`t remember exactly what happened there but an attempt of soul frontflip off from the rail was definitely a thing not to miss. After the comp we checked some other local street spots which in my opinion would a much better place to hold that contest. Next thing which I can recall is a whole-night party and another trip, this time to Varna. Varna was nothing else than again some beach, some skating and some parties – nothing new after a whole week of touring. In Burgas – our fifth tour stop we stayed at sky-scraper like hotel which characteristic design inspired Adam to make some short film. Adam chose one of my favourite guys – ENE STEFAN for the main part. It is worth mention that Mirek Ragan had some short apperance (the movie can be downloaded at Hedonskate.com/videocast). Next during many street sessions we shot some rollerblading clips, where during one of them we started a little battle by throwing themselves into the fountain that we skated. This evening we stayed at the hotel where we chilled until morning. During our way to Sofia we stopped at Stara Zagóra where after small session we took a bus to the capital of Bulgaria. Since we arrive there so late and we had to be on the airport at 5 on the morning we didn`t skate at all, and I regret it for this day. The spots which we saw during on the way to the party were so amazing, hundreds of ledges of any kind anywhere you looked, just like a huge skate plaza designed especially for rollerbladers. After the party which of course was a blast, I woke up the others and we headed to the airport to catch a plane to Kijow. The visit in Ukraine wasn`t an official part of the tour so I will make it brief. The flight with a change in Prague lasted about 5 hours. In Kijow, straight from the airport we went to Extreme sport festival, which promoted some potato crisps brand:P Our task was to judge the contest and then to make a little demo with local friends. Everything turned out very good although the park was strictly designed for BMX riders. At that moment we were rather tired of so long tour but somehow we accepted the offer of a house-party at the club nearby. Again we went to sleep at the morning and then caught a flight to Warsaw. To sum it up, I think that the trip was simply stunning. We visted new countries and checked how rollerblading scenes look like there, we meet so many people and what is more we had incredible holiday at the same time. I`m looking forward to something like this next year! Quick summary: During the tour we visited five European capitals (Bucharest, Sofia, Prague, Kijów, Warsaw) and six countries ( Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech, Ukraine), we traveled by 2 trains, 2 cars, 3 planes, 4 buses. It wasn`t raining even once! Record of temperature – 48 C and almost everyday it was close to breaking it. During first 3 days (later we lost the count) piotrek drunk 8 beers, Adam and Mirek 17 beers each, I – 21 beers which give us 63 beers in total. We visited 20 clubs, 3 people were attacked by huge medusas. We slept at 4 hotels, and 4 times we stayed at some friends` houses.
