Gonzo - interview

    1. What is your full name, date of birth and place of live ? Gonzalo Jaquez, 10/03/83, and I live in Los Angeles, California   2. Which companies do you represent ? I rep for USD, Kizer, Eulogy, Aggressivemall, and B Unique   3. Was Real Polish Tour your first visit in Poland ? Yea it was the first time I have ever been to Poland, first time I have been in Europe.   4. What do you think about Polish in line community - did you expect  something else? I thought the community was amazing. seemed like everyone knew each other and everyone was treated like family. Also the rolling scene was alot larger then I had expected. We would out number skateboarders in poland.   5. How DID you like Polish Girls ? The girls seemed nice and friendly but I have a loving fiance so I would just speak to the girls as friends. I got along well with some of the other rollers girlfriends that were on tour and was able to have a good time around them.   6. What does PUNAMI CREW mean for you ? The Punani crew is simply the illest crew out there. The whole crew is always out repping, we are worldwide. No one can touch us hahaha.   7. What do you think about level of Polish Riders ? There are so many good polish rollers and they all have amazing styles to go along with their personalities. The polish rollers skated hard at everyspot and that is good for me because there are few rollers that can skate hard all day like me.   8. What is your opinion about ROLLFEST and SOPOT - any positive experience ? First off Sopot is incredible. The city that never sleeps in Poland. There were parties all day everyday in sopot. A great place to go for holidays. As for rollfest I thought it was great how so many rollers came together to skate. It did not even seem like a competition but just a large session. Everyone skating together and pushing others to their limits. I would love to go again sometime.   9. The craziest guy on the Tour was .... ??? (let it be tricks, parties or anything) Man that is hard to say but I am going to have to go with Evginey Leonov. The man is ruthless. He got hurt early in the tour and then a couple days later when he was well to skate again he laces this huge square drop kink rail. simply amazing. Leonov also new how to party. The kid could party and drink all night and skate hard all day the next day. hard to do with you are hungover and not getting much sleep.   10. Does the Polish tour differ in some way from other tours ? Well I was only on one tour before the polish tour and it was different because the atmosphere was more relaxed. There was not as much pressure to skate hard all day and do the biggest things. Although i do not mind skating hard all day and doing big tricks I did not feel pressured into them and I was able to rest if needed. The polish tour was also good in catering to the needs of the rollers on tour. During the day we were taken to amazing spots to skate and amazing parties at night. Also we had nice places to stay.   11. Message for Polish riders ?! co hom che (I know i spelled that wrong haha) well basically i love you guys and miss you. You guys are amazing and do not underestimate yourselvse or your spots. Keep rolling and doing what your doing. You guys have a friend and a fan here in the US     12. Last word. I would like to thank everyone that was on the polish tour, hedon skate, of course the Punani crew for skating and partying harder than any other crew in the world. Lino for everything, Leonov for sharing a section with me in "Legacy" and for being able to skate and party with me. Mirek for looking out for me and showing me a great time while I was in poland. PH for hooking up the hot photos and for being our leader haha. Thanks to all i met in poland for all the good times. "Whats your name whats your number?" haha peace         Gonzo Gallery
