Clip 4 premiere

Download edit! The Clip 4 premiere planned for the 1st of December in Wrocław turned out to be not only the awesome chance to organise sick miniramp Jam, but also a perfect opportunity to gather rollerbladers from all over Poland at the biggest indoor skatepark in Poland. Bad weather and bonus premiere of Hedonskate DVD were another good reason to not miss this event. Rollerbladers started to gather at skatepark a day before (30th November), but unfortunatelly a long awaiting for pizza (2 hours!!) kept us late, and we arrived to Wrocław about 21:30 which left us 15 minutes to skate because park closes at 22:00. After unpacking all gear needed for the premiere we splited up and went to places where we slept. Friday evening continued with R`N`B, gangsta rap and some old-school tunes at the Pasja club, althought not all people managed to get there. Without any interesting highlights, at 5 o`clock at the morning we headed to sleep. Unfortunately, I have no idea what mysterious things happened at the hotel near the skatepark where silesian guys meet those from Warsaw and together they tested fresh home-made lemon vodka. Together with Basza we slept at his friend`s new flat (thanks Loczko!) and since we went straight to bed we were able to get up early next day and head to the park about 12:00, yet the park was opened to everybody (bikers, skateboarders) until 15:00, so a real, undisturbed session started afternoon when only rollerbladers were let in. As everybody already know, the Wroclaw`s skatepark is huge so it was impossible to see all the tricks which went down. Because the main event would be a mini ramp session, most people gather around the miniramp and showed their skills from the early moments. People who were above the rest were: Kisiel AKA Andrzej IBIah, Szymon Grudziński, Mały from Wrocław, Des, Piotr Combrzyński and Pazdej. But at this time mini ramp was not an obstacle which got the most attention. It was rather that biggest grindbox where some people started to throw crazy disaster tricks – Bailey from Śląsk began with disaster soul, followed by the disaster backunity, top acid, bs nifti and distaser true mizu by Elektryk. In the meantime piotrek Combrzyński cleared the box with perfectly clean 900 and disaster TTS! When everybody thought it was over Piotrek laced disaster 450 backroyale second try and followed it by disaster hardspin topsoul first try!! Definetaly they are the hardest tricks done here so far. Since I was skating miniramp all day, trying to improve my poor ramp skills, I didn`t have more time to watch other tricks which went down – so I`ll skip this part and move straight to the miniramp event. Participants were: Des, Fisha, Szymon Grudziński, Wąs, Pazdej, Mały from Wrocław, Piotrek Combrzyński, Mały from Częstochowa, Małpa, Elektryk, Kisiel, Gigi and few more who I didn`t know. In the elimination round Fisha destroyed everyone with his super clean and technical lines - 270 bs Torque to Makio, True spin Fish to switch Fish and more variations of switch and natural tricks. Finalists were announced after an hour break: - Mały z Wrocławia
- Des
- Piotrek Combrzyński
- Fisha At the beginning the final runs were planned to last about 15 minutes but since the riders were so juiced to compete against each other and the huge reaction form the crowd it lasted much longer. Mały from Wrocław had a clean runs with grinding whole length of coping all the time, mixed with grab tricks to grind and nice 360 out of the tricks. Des got a huge props form the crowd for his 270 backslide to sweat, 270 backside royale to sweat on the extension or 350 outspin topsoul, top acid and true sweet 540 off. Fisha did a consistent run with tricks like cloudy, top acids, ao top acids, 270 backside backslide to soul both sides and as a request from the crowd backflip and 720 back to back, which were quickly repeated by Piotrek. Soon after Piotrek started his show. Calmly began with tricks like 270 backside backlside, true savanah, true spin cloudy, TSS and continued with hardpisn topsoul. Next after few attempts he laced 540 TTS and 540 True cloudy. Than Fisha started to skate again and answered with hardspin topacid, but it was no match for Piotrek 630 backroyale and final 720 topsoul! Screams and props, roars if the crowd and the competitiors ended the Jam, and everybody took their sits while the premiere of Clip 4 and Hedonskate DVD started. Some preparations and finally the lights turned off starting out the projections. Adam Zurawiecki played the first five sections of Hedonskate DVD (Team, Piotrek Combrzyński, Mateusz Kowalski, Radosław Kojtych and Nils Jansons). Some minor technical problems were soon overcomed by Adam and crowd`s cheers. Each section was loudly rewarded by Andrzej Bah and his Who lets the dogs out song. . Soon after the main evening attraction came by which was long awaited premeire of CLIP 4, everyone watched it with pure amazement and the park-event was over. The afterparty was organised in the Bezsennosc Club, with Gigi responsible for it and again I have to say that he did it very well! Not only he helped with the organising the miniramp event but also managed to reserve huge part of the club only for rollerbladers. The whole weekend was super awesome, organised in a very professional way. Why? Everything was done as it should be. The biggest indoor park in Poland , reserved only for rollerbladers, good audio equipment for the premiere and sick afterparty with chill place without random people. But what was most important – the atmosphere. Althought the age and experience of all present rollerbladers differ a lot, there wasn`t any bad vibes etc everyone just had a really good fun and chance to skate with lots of people during this cold winter. Even, not completely sober commentator of the Jam didn’t` spoil the good competition, which thanks to endless power of the participants reusulted in amazing tricks which will be hard to forget – You wasn`t there???? REGRET it!!!! Szymon
