Realstreet Dresden Story

The Real Street Dresden was founded by Jojo Jacobi and Marian Sorge in the year 2000. After they organised the contest 4 years in the row they stop hosting the contest. This year the Real Street Dresden came back to life and it was a good turn out. People from Germany, Poland, Denmark and Czech Republic competed. But lets get started with the main action of the competition.
At the 1st spot, a curb with a rail on it, went down some pretty crazy combos and everybody had the chance to get warmed up for the next few spots. However Sascha Lopez one of Germanys next level skaters distorted the spot with his incredible soul to switch top soul to bs fully to truspin top soul to fullcap soul 180 off switch-up. Next spot was a perfect down rail on the right hand. Like on the warm up spot almost everybody was skating the rail and unknown guys like Patrick Hirte, Sascha Lopez, Lukas Kazmierczak and Andy Warning laced down a lot of hot stunts on it. In addition to that Gagi Wagenblast was doing the transfer soul to soul from the rail to the small ledge next to the rail. In front of the event everybody joked about this transfer and he did it. So we had to move on to the next spot.
A straight curb and a down ledge both are pretty difficult to skate but to find the best street skater the level of skating had to raised up again. Once again Lukas Kazmierczak, and his brother Bartek Gòrczyk laced down a couple cool tricks but the main show belonged to Daniel Gruß a.k.a. Dan G, Chris Obermaier and Jacob Juul.
Dan G. did a backslide to ao fishbrain and backslide to ao pornstar on the down ledge with a 3m drop. On the other site the bellybutton high straight curb Jacob Juul did an ao top soul 360 off, another spot change. The final was an awesome kinkrail followed by two stair sets. Jacob Juul from Denmark did a halfcup top soul and the whole crowd got kicked out by the local security. So another spot change to a different kinkrail and Jacob Juul as well as Chris Obermaier and started they trick show again. Przemek Gòrczyk started of with an true top pornstar followed by Chris Obermaier with a top acid to fastslide down the kinkrail. But Jacob Juul was probably just smiling about all those tricks and he started of with some soyals. Next step he laced down an ao top soul to soul and a few more tries later he killed them all with his ao top soul to fullcap soyal into the seconded part of the kinkrail. Later that night the german people got to find out how polish guys are partying and get sloshed.The afterparty was a success and even people who had nothing to do with the previous rollerblading competition partyed all night. A big thank you goes out to all the guys from Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark and Germany who came to the competition. Everybody made the event what it was. Also we have to be really thankful for all the sponsor (Grindhouse, Ignition Skateshop, hedonskate.com, Ground Control, 4x4, Vicious, Nimh, the whole Conference brands, Estero Clothing, Infernal Clothing, Arkon, Razors, Remz and Ucon) who made the Real Street Dresden possible.
