Inmag.pl on the new skatepark in Wroclaw

On friday 24.11.06, me and Mirek we went to Wrocław to check out our new indoor park. It was really cool! We were both surprised by what we’ve seen inside the hale. Whole object (even though it is not 100% finished) looks amazing. Huge amount of space inside, which is rare for that kind of objects in Europe. Wrocław spent 0,5 milion euro for whole project and I need to say that that was a really good way of spending public money. Well finished elements of the park together with shower and toilets for everyone. In future there will be a shop with skating stuff , service and skating school. Well the obstacles could be designed and arranged in a bit different way. We all have seen the visualisation of the first street course project that was just perfect. Although I think we can’t complain about what we have right now. What is more important, people that generally feel good on rollerblades, shouldn’t have problems with finding a thing to play on. Matias Ogger says that thank to skateborders there is a lot of good skateparks in Germany. For example the Mullhausen skate hall where the place of the winterclash competition. Our rollerblading society is still too small to have the main influence to projects like this one. I think the situation is slowly going into the right way, and sooner or later we’ll have one designed specially for us - rollerbladers. Do you remember the last 720 to soul by Chriss Haffey? We have a very similar obstacle – a funbox with two grindboxes for disasters, both for left and right side. Who is the first to try that?
Pamiętacie ostatnie 720 na soula  w wykonaniu Haffeya? We Wrocławiu stoi prawie identyczna figura - fun box z grindboxami na disaster i to na dwie strony. Kto pierwszy spróbuje?

Meantime You should try to lern how to jump using the only one sponge pool available in Poland. I would like to mention that if we talk about polish jumping skills we can’t even compare it with the level that we represent on the streets. We should all go the same track like Marek Doniec, Piotr Combrzyński and Chester. Whole polish inline start to jump since now. Where? In Wroclaw!!!   Greets, Adam Żurawiecki
